Sales Executive (Manchester, UK)

You will be responsible for working with the UK sales team to play a critical role in growing the Kids Insights and Parents Insights business, and will be based in our Manchester office.

 

The purpose of the role is to contribute to making each week better than the last, from a sales perspective, driving sales opportunities, initiating relationships and over time building successful long-term relationships – predominately by making contact with potential clients via phone.

 

Key Objectives

  1. To proactively generate sales and build pipeline,
  2. To build the sales pipeline and opportunities for the UK sales team
  3. To coordinate the sales database

 

The Role

This position will be predominately based in our Manchester office, and will occasionally require some travel across the UK, both to clients and to conferences. Much of the sales contact work will be conducted via telephone, Skype, and digital communications, and a tenacious but pragmatic approach will enable you to succeed in this role.

 

There will be significant development opportunities as we grow not just in the UK, with the US already the first stage of our global expansion, so there is plenty of room for professional development

This position is compensated with a combination of base salary and sales commission. You will also share in the company’s financial success through bonuses.

This position is a permanent full time role.

 Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is advantageous but not essential
  • Keen interest in children’s consumer products, media products, and these industries.
  • Highly motivated toward revenue and client success, with proven track record.
  • Minimum 2 years experience business development role with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Preferred experience includes a sales role within the media and marketing industries.
  • Proficiency with internet, email, CRM, Skype, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, mobile apps.
  • Some knowledge of market research is helpful, but not essential.

Marketing Coordinator (Manchester, UK)

You will need to be a highly organised individual as you will be responsible for working with a variety of people across the business. You will play a critical support role in providing the sales and account management team with the tools to enable them to engage and influence existing and potential clients. You will also be responsible for developing and managing the marketing plan to create new business opportunities and to build The Insights People credentials. You will be based in our Manchester office.

The purpose of the role is to contribute to making each week better than the last, from providing our sales team with more opportunities to continually improving and refining our marketing assets based on feedback.

Key Objectives

  • To coordinate and oversee all marketing activities
  • To create lead gen content that delivers sales pipeline opportunities for the sales team
  • To coordinate and manage all marketing assets
  • To showcase The Insights People’s credentials

The Role
This position will be predominately located in our Manchester office, and will occasionally require some travel across the UK.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is advantageous but not essential

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience marketing coordinator role with a track record of first class implementation and achieving results.

Research Executive (Manchester, UK)

You will be responsible for working with our Product Managers, Research team and Strategists in playing a critical role in the production of all of our products (Kids Insights UK, Parents Insights UK and Kids Insights US), and will be based in our Manchester office.

 

The purpose of the role is to support the Product team to ensure that our market research continues to be the most comprehensive and dynamic available, and contributing to making each week better than the last. You will be responsible for coordinating the research database, cleaning and analysing data and contributing to the development of content for sales & marketing presentations and articles.

 

Key Objectives

  1. To ensure that each set of reports is better than the last one
  2. To coordinate research references and resources
  3. To provide support to the Management and commercial team with insight led content to engage key stakeholders

 

The Role

This position will predominately based in our Manchester office, and will occasionally require some travel across the UK, both to clients and to conferences. You must be organised, tenacious and passionate about the work to enable you to succeed in this demanding role.

 

There will be significant development opportunities as we grow not just in the UK, with US the first stage of our global expansion, so there is plenty of room for professional development both in research and product management roles.

Junior Developer (Manchester, UK)

You will be joining our expanding tech team who are responsible for our award winning technology and also helping us with our continual development of our IT infrastructure.

 

The purpose of the role is to make each week better than the week and ensure that our technologies enable us to keep on exceeding our clients expectations.

  1. To contribute to ensuring our technology is reliable and exceeds clients expectations
  2. To ensure that our tech infrastructure is resilient and in the development of new processes to ensure resilience and compliance

The Role

This position will be based in our Manchester office, and will have the following key responsibilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coding, design and bug fixing of company’s web portal including: PHP, JavaScript, jQuery WordPress, CSS and RDBMS cloud technologies
  • Design, fix and implementation of company’s reporting platform using Power BI
  • 2nd and 3rd line support for a broad range of IT requests

PR and Content Manager (Manchester, UK)

Working with the internal team to ensure all content and media internally and externally reflect the brand, maximise opportunities and create strong relationships with media partners and to proactively develop media opportunities.  To create clear and consistent messages and content, which are robust, repeatable and memorable.

Key Objectives

1. Manage PR and plan in line with wider business objective

2. To maintain the tone of voice and brand identity throughout all communications

3. To develop and maintain overall style content and layout, including templates, soundbites, straplines, elevator pitch, etc
